Another day passed by 
and I am walking with my eyes closed 
oblivious to this life 

I dream of things afar 
but I see not things near me 

Another day passed by 
and I am immersed in this sea of life
I only see the things near  me,
not knowing the vastness  of life

I get caught up in the 
grind of everyday life 
losing my breath every  moment 
unaware of the soft steps 
of death following me  everywhere
